Q: How long does a transfer to an External Account take?
A: A2A or Account-to-Account Transfers allow you to quickly send or receive money between accounts you have at Elements and those at other financial institutions. Account-to-Account (A2A) transfers completed within Elements Online Banking are completed within 2-5 business days. That's faster than ever before!

Q: How do I add a new External Account to my transfer options in Elements Online Banking?
A: To add a new external account, go to the "Transfers & Payments" menu and select "Manage External Accounts" within the Account Management section. Click the 'Link via Instant Verification' button and you will be delivered to Plaid where you can enter your online banking credentials for your other financial institution. Once Plaid has connected to your other financial institution, you will select which account you want to link. As soon as the account is linked, it is available to transfer to/from.

Q: Why can't I find my financial institution when trying to add an external account via the Plaid 'Link via Instant Verification' option?
A: Some financial institutions don't support Plaid. However, you can still link your account by selecting "Link with Account Numbers" at the bottom of the Select Your Institution page within Plaid.
