Who is Liz?

Liz Wertz is a Vice President, LPL Financial Advisor at Elements Wealth Management. She collaborates with our branches to offer financial advising to our members and serves on the DEIB Council at Elements. Her top five strengths are harmony, analytical, empathy, discipline, and consistency.

What does Liz do?

Her day-to-day offers a lot of variety. Liz’s main responsibilities are researching investments, staying up to date with market shifts, creating financial plans, leading seminars, and holding client account reviews.

When did Liz join Elements?

Before Elements, Liz worked at a different financial institution. She then transitioned into a variety of non-profit roles at organizations like Bike Indy, Growing Places Indy, and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. In 2020, a coworker from her former banking job reached out to Liz about applying to Elements. After learning about Elements and how our credit union operates like a non-profit, she decided to give and go, and she’s been a part of our team ever since!

Why does Liz enjoy working at Elements?

Liz enjoys the flexibility Elements provides and being able to help her clients achieve financial success. Specifically, she enjoys her role because she is both a numbers person and a people person. She adds, “I like to treat every single person as I would a close friend. I think I come off as very relatable and approachable, which helps me focus on a niche of Wealth Management clients who might not have felt they were “rich/old/accomplished” enough to work with an advisor.” 

With the help of her colleague, Noah, Liz has a role that exercises her strengths and passion for helping others.

You can spot Liz dining at her favorite Thai restaurant, exploring state parks, watching movies at KanKan Cinema, or wandering around downtown Indianapolis. When she's not out and about, she enjoys spending time with her family or relaxing with her closest friends, sipping wine and watching reality TV.

What are some "fun facts" about Liz?

• Liz has quite a green thumb. Her favorite time of the year is late winter/early spring when she gets her seed catalogs in the mail.
• Did you know that Liz was adopted from South Korea at only four months old? She’s been an Indianapolis native ever since!
• She’s known her Wealth Management business partner, Noah Dennis, for over 14 years!
• Liz is obsessed with every single show on the Bravo Network.
• Once upon a time, Liz showed her love for cooking with recipe video content for a local moms’ blog.
