'Paint the Town Red' embodied the Elements mission of building lifelong relationships, by sending small groups of staff members to areas across downtown Indianapolis to distribute breakfasts to local non-profits, spontaneously buy snacks or coffees for strangers and distribute complimentary Elements summer swag. These activities were designed to make people's days a little happier — a constant goal of Elements from staff to credit union members and even within the community. The staff team came back to report many happy receivers — others many noted that the most impactful part of the event was how it felt to be able to give back to the community. Elements plans to continue giving back in the community for many years into the future, including the upcoming annual Purpose Day — a day of service benefiting many major partner organizations.
