Focused on Your Financial Wellness

We're like a bank, only better. Better Rates. Fewer Fees. Trusted Advice. Fresh Approach. Respected Locally. Accessed Globally. High Tech. Human Touch.

Elements Financial is a credit union. What's a credit union? Glad you asked! A credit union is a not-for-profit financial institution that's owned by its members. That means we offer all the same products as a bank, but our profits are returned to our member-owners in the form of reduced fees, higher savings rates and lower loan rates.

About Elements

As a non-profit, member-owned credit union, Elements Financial has the ability to do some pretty amazing things for our members. While offering all the products, services and technologies of a conventional bank, our unique business model allows us to return profits to our member-owners in the form of reduced fees, higher savings rates and lower loan rates.

Benefits of a Credit Union

Dependability and innovation: these twin concepts work in harmony to help Elements deliver financial wellness to members. Our practical financial advice is dependable enough to have earned us a ranking among the top 5% of credit unions in the U.S., with more than 100,000 members and $2.2 billion in assets. Our spirit of innovation spurs us to constantly search for better and more convenient amenities for our partners, such as holding financial workshops at their workplaces and online.

See Financial Resources

Elements Financial Federal Credit Union has been a part of the Central Indiana community since 1930. We’re proud of the respect and reputation we’ve earned in our community during those 90+ years. We’re also proud to offer our members access to our services wherever they go, with 90,000+ surcharge-free ATMs and 5,000+ shared branches worldwide.

Find an ATM or Branch

With digital services in place, we can offer convenience and ‘round-the-clock service through many channels; however, we never want that service to become cold and impersonal. We feel that we’ve gotten the formula right at Elements: modern technology made personal by 24/7 human support. Our purpose is to empower members to achieve financial success, and we have balanced resources to achieve that.

  1. 1 Rates are based on an evaluation of credit history, combined loan-to-value ratio, loan term, and occupancy, so your rate may differ. Not all applicants will qualify for the displayed lowest rates. The term is 25 years, consisting of a 10-year draw period with interest-only payments followed by a 15-year repayment period with principal plus interest, which may increase your monthly payments. The Introductory Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 3.99% is for new Home Equity Lines of Credit only and is for the first six months. HELOC modifications, renewals and increases that utilize the same property are not considered new and are not eligible for the introductory rate. To receive the Introductory rate, a draw of at least $10,000 must be made within 30 days of account opening. After the introductory rate expires, balances will be charged at the variable APR based upon the Prime rate as published in The Wall Street Journal plus a margin. The APR will never be lower than 3.75% or higher than 18%. The stated rate, correct as of January 1, 2026, applies to borrowers with credit scores of 730 or greater, CLTV 80% or less, and owner-occupied single-family residences. Elements Financial will conditionally waive the following Closing Costs associated with your home equity line of credit: flood certification, title search or title abstract, credit report, recording fees, and a simple valuation. You may be required to pay other costs such as taxes, and when required, appraisal fees. However, if you close your home equity line of credit within 36 months after it is opened, you will be required to pay an Early Closure Fee in the amount of the Closing Costs originally waived. These costs vary by state and property type. Elements Financial reserves the right to modify or end this offer at any time. Additional terms and conditions may apply. Subject to credit approval. Elements Financial Membership Required.
  2. 2 High Interest Checking Account pays dividends using blended rate tiers meaning the stated dividend rate will be paid on the portion of the balance for each tier. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for Tier 1 is 2.00% on balances up to $20,000.00 and the **Tier 2 APY ranges from 2.00% to 0.86% on balances from $20,000.01 to $50,000.00. To earn Tier 1 or Tier 2 dividend rates, 15 qualifying transactions must post per statement cycle on the account. The statement cycle includes all transactions posted after the last business day of the prior month through the last business day of the current month. Accounts not meeting the qualifying transaction threshold will earn 0.05% APY. Rates accurate as of January 1, 2026. All rates are variable and may change without notice at any time. Only the following are qualifying transactions: Debit card purchases, checks, bill payments, ATM withdrawals and ACH withdrawals. No other transactions qualify. At least one account holder must be at least 18 years old. Fees may reduce earnings.
  3. 3 High Yield Savings Annual Percentage Yield (APY) accurate as of January 7, 2026. High Yield Savings is a tiered savings account paying a variable dividend rate, that may change at any time, on the entire balance in your account based on the rate for the tier corresponding to each day’s daily balance. The account is available for new money only which are funds not on deposit at Elements for 90 days prior to opening the High Yield Savings account. Existing Elements members with savings accounts must deposit $25,000.00 or more of new money within 10 days of opening the High Yield Savings account. Existing Elements members with savings accounts with combined daily balances of $2,500.00 or less for the 90 days prior to account opening are excluded from the new money requirement. Additional information for each tier: An APY of 0.10% applies to accounts with balances from $0.01 to $99.99. An APY of 0.75% applies to accounts with balances from $100.00 to $2,499.99.
